We have barely started what we had to do and… the year is over again! Am I getting too old or this thing is going too fast? Maybe both.
According to Wikipedia,
December is the 12th and last month of the year in the Julian and Gregorian Calendars and one of seven months with the length of 31 days.
Did you know that December starts on the same day of the week as September every year and ends on the same day as April every year? It is the month with the shortest daylight hours of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and the longest daylight hours of the year in the Southern Hemisphere.
The fact in Brazil is, we still have some working days ahead of us. For those who don’t know what to do on the very last days, I suggest some games. Take a look.

• cada aluno prepara 4 tiras de papel (10 x 14 cm);
• cada aluno escreve um nome de alguém famoso / importante em cada tira;
• recolha e embaralhe as tiras;
• um aluno de cada vez vai à frente, pega 4 tiras de papel, fixa-as no quadro e
fala sobre as pessoas;
Ex.: I like him / her ou I don’t like him / her.
Nota: Dependendo do nível dos alunos eles podem declarar por quê.

• No quadro, escreva / voluntários escrevem o passado de todos os verbos irregulares
estudados (ver Sugestão);
• revise o alfabeto;
• os alunos desenham uma grade de 5 x 10 em seus cadernos;
• um de cada vez, os alunos dizem qualquer letra do alfabeto;
• todos escrevem tal letra na grade, tentando montar formas no passado;
• o jogo prossegue até que todos os quadrados estejam completos;
• o aluno com o maior número de formas no passado é o vencedor.
