Sophia Mavridi is a Digital Learning Specialist & Lecturer in English Language Teaching currently working at De Montfort University in Leicester, UK. She is also involved with NILE (Norwich Institute for Language Education) both on its MA in Professional Development for Language Education (MAPDLE) and as a Trinity CertPT (Certificate for Practicing Teachers) internal assessor.
Her research focuses on online learning and the increasingly important role of digital literacies in education. She has trained for major organisations such as the British Council, International House, Macmillan Education and She is a regular keynote speaker at international conferences.
