Classes on Business Area – How do Handle a High Performer Student?
The teacher needs to exceed expectations in a consistent manner on conducting the classes, the difference is how to involve the company’s scenery on each class to catch the attention of the students. The teacher needs to have in mind that all high performers are eager to improve these combination: talent, skills, enthusiasm, passion, ability and ambition, not only to learn other language.
The teacher’s responsibility is to show how it could be benefit when the students improve their language – Offering business cases to solve turmoil and conflicts within the organizations.
High performers like to play by their own rules, so is important delegate to them some projects to be developed in other language, per these materials the teacher could help on drive their own abilities and manage adversely, deal with frustrations and drive team goals.
Prior to develop an objective class the teacher needs to include tasks oriented exercises, projects and cases involving the high performers interests. Even though their level of contribution and skills is high, their lack of interest in other activities as well as their lack of communication can be harmful for the class so the teacher have the chance to develop these strategies on study cases.
My tip of the day is: – create an environment in which your superstars, can study and develop new ideas by themselves to become the class more successful. Involve the high performer in leadership roles – so they can “lead” the development of the class by improving projects e.g.: their own 5 years plan.

Mari,
Just outstanding, again!
High performers are a great challenge in all areas, and I think it must be more clear and visible on classes: they usually are full-time connected, think fast and always feel the need to overcome their own limits.
I think I’m not a so high performer, but I’ve experienced many situations like these before when I was on English school. My teacher was very attentive to me and we could talk about many different subjects, but something was missing and my interest was declining every week. The class was composed by students in different degrees of proficiency; I’m not tryin’ to show me as “te best student ever”, but my classmates couldn’t speak so well and I couldn’t slow down my learning and wait for them!
I keep studyin’, but as a self-taught and daily trainin’ with friends as you and Franke.
Congrats for this so good article and view!!!
Kisses,
P.S.: Sorry if I’ve made any mistake. I’m still learning!

Mari !!!
It’s so nice to read!! I did keep thinking if my teacher at the time I was studying English, had in his mind all the combination you said ; talent, skills, passion, ability and ambition.. And if I really got all that…
We need more professionals like you!!!
A bad teacher can really take a student into frustration!
And I have to tell you, you look great on this picture! Fun smile!!
Big kiss my dear!
It’s a pleasure to know you!
