SMOKING
O traje formal usado por homens em certas ocasiões sociais, em inglês é chamado de tuxedo ou, informalmente, tux. A palavra inglesa smoking, usada no Brasil, tem origem em smoking jacket, uma espécie de paletó folgado, de tecido fino como o veludo ou seda, e que era usado antigamente pelos homens para fumar.
Sean felt weird, all dressed up in a rented tuxedo.
O Sean sentia-se estranho, todo bem vestido em um smoking alugado.
“I’ve never worn a tux really, but I may need to buy one for my sister’s wedding”, said Tim to his friends.

O substantivo rubble é usado em inglês para se referir aos restos de construções demolidas ou resto de obra.

CUT THE CHEESE; BREAK WIND; FART
Além do verbo regular to fart/farted/farted (peidar), duas expressões coloquiais são usadas neste contexto: cut the cheese e break wind. Confira os exemplos abaixo:

Putz, abre a janela, por favor. Alguém acabou de soltar uma bufa!

The small refrigerator in a hotel room stocked with drinks and snacks is called minibar.
A pequena geladeira em quartos de hotéis com bebidas e salgadinhos é chamada de frigobar.
